Explanatory:

The project "FLUIDS_ID: e-portfolios and life stories - digital contents for social inclusion and employability in RL and SL" questions different representations of final higher education students at national, European and Latin-American level, who seek jobs resorting to accessible and inclusive WEB 3.0 tools, made available to every citizen.

We created a space (http://w3.ese.ipsantarem.pt/fuidsid/) where we identified world experiments that generated good practices of employability, we adapted Kolb´s Experiential Learning Theory and developed the Puzzle Metaphor respecting the learning profiles of the citizen, with DublinCore metadata, where every student can insert e-portfolios and life stories, by selecting a profile of competences, impersonated by an avatar, defined under Kolb´s theory. We underline the fact that this platform will allow the inclusion of personalized videos with the machinima technique (used in Second Life).

We built the prototype in May 2007. It was awarded the 1st prize, and later on the 3rd, at the Poliempreende Competition (respectively at the regional and national competitions). Presently we propose: a) to study the way of rendering this platform inclusive to all citizen; b) to index the various profiles that are part of the platform to companies capable of giving them an employability response; c) to introduce innovative techniques at the level of video (machinima) so as to allow each citizen to build his/her own life story; d) to develop the platform for every student who finishes higher education, projecting its internationalization to Europe and Latin-America, with the goal of including the present study under the policies adopted worldwide :to create an e-portfolio for all until 2010; e) to promote research at post-doctoral, doctoral and master level, including the integration of young graduates in Research Integration Grants

The changing of attitudes by the Scholars of the IP, leading them to have on their regular activities the development and application of methods for valorization of the attained knowledge.

O projecto que agora apresentamos, e-Portefolio 2.0: instrumento pedagógico de empregabilidade, pretende contribuir para o conhecimento e implementação de uma ferramenta – e-Portefolio – de sociabilidade – WEB 2.0 – que se inscreve numa Sociedade Fluida e Multimodal.
Esta temática justifica-se numa dimensão nacional uma vez que pretende dar resposta à medida apresentada no Plano Estratégico Nacional do Plano Tecnológico, mais especificamente, na terceira prioridade que visa contribuir para a garantia da “coesão social” através da qualificação tecnológica escolar e profissional do cidadão que se movimenta na rede fluida e multimodal da WEB 2.0. Para tal, tentaremos apresentar o “e-Portefolio” como um instrumento capaz de ajudar a promover a empregabilidade e o empreendorismo do cidadão.
Numa dimensão internacional, pretendemos através deste projecto dar proposta às medidas que estão a ser implementadas a nível mundial pelo Europortfolio Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) - EIFEL (Building and Learning Europe) e, no continente americano, pelo “Learning Innovations Forum” (LIFIA) no sentido de criar um e-portfolio para todos os cidadãos até 2010.

Explanatory

The L’EUROPE ENSEMBLE Project is a pedagogical product about the learning of foreign languages, specifically conceived for a target public from 11th to 15th years old. Composed by eight “scripts” accompanied by an audio CD in German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian and Swedish as foreign languages, proposes sequences of activities, with three levels of difficulty, for initiation of a language or consolidation of knowledges. This collection articulates with a Multilanguage site, interactive mean of discovery of languages and cultures. Through a virtual journey through Europe, as motivation for mobility, the use is going to find ways of putting in practice the languages of the countries he is visiting. He will have this possibility, thanks to the CIT, of finding out or consolidate a language on its context opening to other cultures.

This approach, the basis of the linguistics acquisitions is constituted for authentic situations created from cultural supports: more than thematic, it offers “intercultural communication projects”, in relation with the interests of young Europeans.

The study “À Aventura das línguas com as WEBQuest” situates itself in the interception between the 7th grade subjects and the 4th year subject of the Licentiate course of Elementary Teacher’s – variation Visual and Technological Education Audiovisual Communication Techniques. It takes place on the subject for Conception and Production of Projects and explores knowledges of other subjects, such as: literature (Portuguese, German, English and French) and other curricular subjects (Sciences, Mathematics, Geography, History, Physics-Chemistry, Arts and Sports).
